I SEE LONDON, I SEE FRANCE.

Gabe and I escaped the grind and spent 2 weeks in London and France. I tried to remember all our favorite spots and of course the hotels we stayed at and listed them below.

LONDON:

  • We first stayed at The Orange Public House & Hotel. It was really cool - super small, I think only 4 rooms with the restaurant/bar downstairs. We liked this spot a lot.

  • Then we moved over to the Artist Residence. I’m a fan - I’ll be back. It’s the perfect little creative boutique hotel.

  • Sale E Pepe Ristorante - simple, quaint pasta spot.

  • Wahaca - we’re always seeking out Mexican food wherever we go. Not sure if that really a good idea - but this place was pretty good when you miss regular food.

  • Rebel’s Alliance - moto shop

  • D/F Mexico - round 2 of finding Mexican food in London. We’re weird, I know,

  • Polpo - small Italian restaurant - the one on Beak St. We really loved this spot. Highly recommend.

PARIS:

  • We stayed at the Sofitel Paris Baltimore Tour Eiffel. It’s cute and has great views of the Eiffel Tower. And a room balcony is always a plus.

  • As for food, to be honest France is tough for us. We spend most that week fantasizing about Javier’s Cantina back home. We survived on croissants, cheese sandwiches and fries. We ate at a random pasta place twice. However, the very last night we discovered Ralph Lauren’s restaurant at 173 Boulevard Saint-Germain and had we found it earlier we would have been there every night. So good.
